Senior Administration Coordinator
.7FTE Monday-Thursday 9AM-4PM
SCHADS Level 5.1 ($51 per hour), salary packaging benefits
Fixed term contract until June 2027
Hobart CBD, office-based role
MHLET is a lived experience governed and managed member-based organisation. We drive systems change through the collective voice of lived experience in the mental health sector.
A dynamic and super organised Senior Administration Coordinator is needed to support a growing not-for-profit organisation's programs. This role involves providing crucial administrative and project support, including managing schedules, coordinating communications, and general support of the Mental Health Lived Experience Tasmania's (MHLET) programs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong administration and communication skills. This is a fast-paced role, requiring the successful candidate to be able to think on their feet and have a proactive solution focussed mindset.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2-5 years of administrative experience.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds both face to face and over the phone.

The required lived experience of navigating mental health services must be through a personal mental health journey.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights or visa to be eligible for this position.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain both a police check and working with vulnerable people check.
