Job Site Manager, North Hobart

I am looking to speak with Site Managers from a fitout and refurbishment background who are confident running projects in a live environment. This builder has a huge pipeline of work for 2026 with projects kicking off in February just outside of Hobart.

What you will be doing:

• Day to day management of site activities, subcontractors, and trades
• Delivery of works to programme, budget, and quality standards
• Managing refurb works within a live medical environment
• Ensure full WHS compliance, including site inductions, toolbox talks, and SWMS
• Coordination of inspections, approvals, and authority sign offs
• Liaison with the Project Manager, consultants, and client representatives
• Quality assurance, defect management, and handover coordination

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or fit out projects
• Experience working in live environments, ideally medical or healthcare
• Strong knowledge of WHS and site compliance requirements
• Ability to manage tight programmes and staged handovers
• Excellent communication and subcontractor coordination skills

• Contract starting early Feb with opportunity to continue on to future projects
• Foot in the door with a busy builder with a good reputation in the industry
• Day rate (TFN or ABN) and weekly pay
