Description of the job

Location: flexible within Tasmania.

ACRRM is growing and we continue to build our teams in each state and territory across Australia and are now recruiting for a Tasmanian based Training Program Advisor (TPA).

The successful applicant will be responsible for the case management of Medical Registrars throughout their training journey with the college. The role will include Training Post support services with provision of advice and guidance through the accreditation process and in-practice delivery of training and supervision.

Duties of the role:

  • Provision of support services to registrars, supervisors, and training posts across an allocated region.
  • Ensure training documentation and data is updated in a timely manner and accurate to monitor and coordinate the training progress of registrars.
  • Work with the team to coordinate and manage the registrar placement activity.
  • Promote and support registrar wellbeing.
  • Support events, education workshops and networking activities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Be self-motivated and proactive in driving work outcomes and dependability by following work through to completion.
  • Manage complex and competing priorities.
  • Work in multidisciplinary team.
  • Communicate respectfully and professional and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is and information management is maintained and accurate and maintain.
