As an integral part of the Distribution Lines team, you will be a valued member responsible for ensuring quality construction and maintenance to ensure a reliable supply to customers, all within applicable procedures, guidelines and standards in planned and unplanned work scenarios.
You will be required to adhere to Genus company procedures, standards, and client requirements and be responsible for ensuring safe work practices for yourself and your team members. This includes identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with Genus Group's core values, and meeting all associated legislative requirements.
Rosters may vary depending on location, client site and expectations, i.e., 2 weeks on, 1 week off, up to 12 hours per day.
About you:
We are seeking appropriately qualified Overhead Distribution Lineworkers who can work in Australia.
- Applicants must hold a current UET30621 - Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
- Applicants must hold a current High Risk Work Licence with Elevated Work Platform Class (WP)
- HV/LV cable jointing qualifications will be highly regarded
- C2 Crane & rigging qualifications will be highly regarded
- Valid "MR" class manual driver’s licence with the ability to upgrade to HR (HR license desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on distribution and transmission networks
- Values teamwork & safety as a priority.
Attractive remuneration packages, including excellent hourly rates, travel allowances, penalty rates and more are available for the right applicants. You also may be eligible for a sign-on bonus upon commencement.
All required training will be supplied, and all training hours, including inductions, will be paid at the base hourly rate.
