Job Lead Educator Outside School Hours Care, Dunalley

• Dedicated Non-contact hours for your programing and administration responsibilities
• PT approx. 19 Hour Permanent Contract per week
• From $30.42 per hour negotiable based on experience + salary packaging.

As the OSHC Lead Educator, you will oversee and lead the strategic and operational management of Dunalley Uniting OSHC.

You will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery. You will support your team to ensure our practices facilitate a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflects the National Quality Framework, taking our OSHC programs to the next level.

In addition to a base hourly rate of $33.12 per hour (negotiable depending on skills and experience) + super, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

You're known for your advocacy and passion for high-quality OSHC programs and have a track record in supporting and leading people.

You will also bring with you:

• Demonstrated organisational skills to juggle competing priorities and manage timelines.
• Experience in people management, , supervision, performance management and administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills with sound ability to write professional work instructions.
• Strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, including demonstration of applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of My Time, Our Place that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing quality within a service and shape the overall performance, including high quality learning and leisure experiences for children.
• Demonstrated experience in shaping a service delivery and practices to promote growth in quality care, safety, wellbeing and support of children and families accessing a service.
• Experience in facilitating employee learning to develop knowledge and skills.
• Experience in adhering to legislative frameworks and organisational requirements.
• Experience in supervising and managing employees, including rostering.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check*

*Must be applicable for the State in which the service operates

• Desirable- Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent.
