About the Role
Lead the design and engineering of Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems on a major flagship project, an excellent opportunity to work on such a prestigious site. It’s a high-profile energy project that will genuinely stand out on your CV and open doors to future large-scale infrastructure work.
This role would ideal for an experienced Design Engineer who has experience supporting large infrastructure/energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design BoP systems (LV/MV/HV, transformers, DC systems, grounding, auxiliaries)
- Prepare SLDs, specs, cable sizing, and protection settings
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards
- Manage interfaces with suppliers and design partners
- Support procurement, installation & commissioning
- Provide site support, resolve NCRs, and manage As-Built docs
About You
- Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering
- 10+ years in power, infrastructure, or switchgear projects
- NER (Engineers Australia) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
- Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, Engineering Base
- BIM/Revizto exposure desirable
