Hill Street Grocer was founded by the Nikitaras family in 2001, when the original IGA store at 109 Hill Street, West Hobart, was transformed into a beautiful gourmet grocery store.
Over more than two decades, the family has nurtured and grown the business to become Tasmania’s leading independent food retailer with stores bringing happiness through great food throughout Tasmania.
In 2015 Hill Street launched, a store-within-a-store at our West Hobart, Sandy Bay, Latrobe, Longford and Devonport sites.
Hill Street Home brought together home and kitchenware, an in-house florist, local handmade chocolates and the range.
