The Company’s integrated portfolio includes farming, ranching and cattle production, food processing, food brands, phosphate mining, fertiliser manufacturing, and other enterprises related to agriculture. Its major operations in the U. S, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Argentina and China provide a diverse array of products and services to people around the world.
J. R. Simplot was an innovator from the start, but our founder’s accomplishments accelerated after creating the first commercially-viable frozen french fries in the 1940s. That momentum continues today, with technology improvements that are revolutionising plant research and food production.
