Located only 8km south of Burnie, Tasmania, our beautifully landscaped 11ha Woodland Garden featuring Rhododendrons, has over 24, 000 plants. Spend the day taking a peaceful self-guided walk on our many tracks, and enjoy some light refreshment in our Tea Room, or perhaps a picnic lakeside while watching the playful platypus. The Garden is open 7 days from 9am-5pm, except Christmas Day and Good Friday. Admission $12 concession, $15 Adult. Children and Members are free. You can become a member of the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden and gain unlimited access for you and your partner (during open hours) to enjoy the flowers, take a leisurely stroll, or just enjoy the tranquillity. The Garden covers 11 hectares with over 24, 000 plants already planted, and plans for future development embracing many more. The Garden is open from 9. 00 am - 4. 00 pm daily, except for Christmas Day and Good Friday. Admission fee applies. Honesty box system during tea room closure.
